Interior design at Al Hashim Associates is treated as a continuation of the architecture, not a separate layer applied afterward. Material palettes, lighting design and furniture decisions are made in reference to the building's own structure, light and proportions, so the finished interior reads as one coherent idea rather than a decorated shell.

For residential clients, this means interiors that hold up to daily life in Karachi — durable finishes, sensible storage, lighting suited to real routines — without losing character. For commercial and hospitality clients, it means interiors built to perform under heavier daily footfall while still presenting the brand or atmosphere the space is meant to convey.

Because material sourcing, custom joinery and vendor coordination are managed by the same team handling the design, what is specified on paper is what actually gets installed on site.

Material, finish and colour palette selection

Custom furniture and joinery design

Where off-the-shelf furniture doesn't fit the space or the brief, custom pieces are designed and built to match the room's proportions and use.

Lighting design and specification

Lighting is planned by function and mood room by room, then specified down to fixture level so it's installed exactly as designed.

Styling and final installation

The final styling pass — accessories, soft furnishings, artwork placement — is handled directly so the space is complete on handover, not left half-finished.

Vendor and procurement coordination

Furniture, fixtures and finish materials are sourced and coordinated directly, so what's specified is what actually arrives on site.
